Job Title: Technician, Simulator Maintenance

Basic Function:
- Maintain troubleshoot and repair Flight Simulator and their associated flight training equipment in accordance with quality standards set by GACA/Saudia and/or equipment manufacturer.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Comply with General/Technical safety, Office procedures and regulations in accordance with TSV/PSAA.
- Troubleshoot and repair all types of FSTD’s as trained using technical aircraft and FSTD’s vendor manuals.
- Commit for shift coverage on all FSTD’s Maintenance Areas including Flight Safety Training FSTD/s.
- Troubleshoot and analyze basic Electric/Electronics circuits and diagrams.
- Perform soldering techniques.
- Use workshop general and special tools.
- Troubleshoot and analyze basic computer components.
- Troubleshoot and analyze Interface and Visual systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair Motion and Control Loading components.
- Troubleshoot and analyze navigation aids using Jeppesen charts.
- Follow and perform the FSTD’s preventive maintenance plan.
- Perform FSTD’s readiness checks.
- Communicate skillfully with FSTDs’ instructors for calls during shift duties.
- Perform full cockpit setup (startup, configuration, and shutdown).
- Perform full cockpit flight plan using FMS (Flight Management System).
- Perform pre-flight (takeoff, approach, go-around, landing).
- Perform visual evaluation (CAT I, CAT II, and CAT III).
- Perform any other related duties within the job scope as assigned by assigned by Manager, Section Manager or Supervisor.
