The jobs in this level are responsible for providing SV Aviation Security / Security Administrative work, while
ensuring that aviation security processes and procedures are followed. Jobholders will perform related Aviation
Security functions and implement the required security measures.


Job Specific Accountabilities:

1. Undertake supervision of aviation security employees to ensure proper implementation of Aviation Security functions (applicable only to the scheduled operations officer).
2. To carry on daily tasks including but not limited to implementation of security requirement & measures on arrival/departure flights, aircraft protection, transportation of firearms, handling
unruly passenger, security escort, security patrols etc.
3. Implement aviation security procedures to safeguard SAUDIA passengers, aircrafts and properties / airports.
4. Study and establish security policies in respect of passengers, baggage, cargo, catering, aircrafts and all other aviation security activities
5. Conduct security audits/inspection/surveys at SAUDIA station, evaluate their security status and submit necessary reports
6. Conduct security risk assessment for all SAUDIA operations including OOK stations
7. Conduct security investigation
8. Maintain, update and distribute security manual.
9. Prepare security reports related to security matters and policies and propose practical solution to relevant problems
10. Participate in committees for studying civil aviation security issues and establish security policies and procedures
11. Analyse security reports, evaluate security hazards and purpose solutions
12. Develop and improve security procedures and techniques to maintain high standards of performance
13. Develop new security techniques and disseminate to subordinate staff for the improvement of their knowledge and work capability
14. Organize the functional activities of the entire security staff working on shift basis at airport, residential premises, office and out-stations
15. Review security contracts with agencies and evaluates their performance
16. Develop local procedures to be followed by security officers
17. Coordinate with Aircraft Security Guard “ASG” to save and secure SV flights at OOK stations and organize related functions.
18. Perform any other security related functions as directed.

Qualification, Conditions and Experience:

. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in: Risk Management, MIS, Computer Science, Law, Political Science, Aviation Management, or Business Administration.
